2D Seismic works have started at the investment block of “Uzbekiston Mustakillikigi”

As part of implementation of the Production sharing agreement in relation to the investment block of "Uzbekistan mustakilligi", SURHAN GAS CHEMICAL OPERATING COMPANY FC LLC (hereafter - the Operator), has begun the 2D seismic works at site. These works that were started ahead-of-schedule are part of implementation of exploration works related to the Project.

The contract for the conduction of works in the amount of 400-line km. was signed between the Operator and BGP Inc.

The works will be conducted at three sites for the purpose of detailed study of geological structure of the oil-bearing area in Cretaceous (chalk) and Jurassic deposits. The acquired data would allow to delineate perspective traps, conduct reliable structural imaging and identify the most favorable areas for drilling of deep exploration wells within the study areas believed to have new natural gas deposits.
