Electrical Engineer (high-voltage testing and measurements / setting relay protection and automation), Power Supply Department

Work experience:
- Work experience of at least 3 years, work experience as an electrical engineer for high-voltage testing and measurements of at least 1 year.
- regulatory methodological materials related to production and economic activities;
- grid code;
- rules for the use and testing of protective equipment used in electrical installations, technical requirements for them;
- safety regulations for operation of electrical installations,
- rules for electrical installations;
- internal local regulatory documents;
internal labor regulations, rules, standards and requirements of industrial sanitation, labor protection, industrial, fire, electrical safety, environmental safety;



Main job duties:
- bears full responsibility for ensuring safe working conditions at his/her site.
- ensures control over the quality and scope of work performed on high-voltage tests and measurements of electrical equipment.
- participates in presentation of claims with execution of an act, in cases of poor-quality and untimely performance of work by contracting (service) organizations.
- ensures collection, calculation and transmission of data on power consumption.
- organizes timely conduct of preventative tests of electrical equipment and installations according to the schedule of planned preventative maintenance (hereinafter referred to as PPR).
- takes part in drawing up the schedule for PPR of power equipment.
- maintains as-built documentation in accordance with the approved list.
- participates in preparation of annual and current orders for equipment and materials of the section.
- participates in preparation of punch lists for repair of power equipment.
- participates in introduction of new equipment and process in the electrical facilities of the site, which contributes to an increase in labor productivity and more reliable, economical and safe operation of electrical equipment and installations.
- ensures proper organization and safe conduct of processes and performance of work in accordance with approved projects, process regulations, plans, requirements of safety rules and standards.
- ensures the maintenance of workplaces, passages, driveways, production and auxiliary premises, sanitary facilities in accordance with the requirements of safety rules and standards.
- takes measures to equip production facilities and provide workers with necessary protective equipment, fire-fighting equipment, devices and appliances in accordance with the requirements of safety rules and standards.
- together with the heads of sections, develops new and revises existing guidelines for safe conduct of work.
- participates in organization and development of measures for labor protection, improvement and sanitation of working conditions. Represents the management the specific measures for labor protection, improvement of working conditions for their inclusion in relevant plans. Organizes and implements timely implementation of planned activities.
- informs the management about an accident, participates in providing first aid to the victim, takes measures to maintain the situation at the workplace and the condition of the equipment as they were at the time of the accident (if this does not threaten the life and health of workers around and does not cause any accident).
- monitors compliance with the rules of labor and production discipline by employees.
- organizes the implementation of measures to prevent and eliminate accidents, catastrophes and natural disasters, civil defense, mobilization training.
- takes measures to eliminate and localize accidents and fires, to provide first aid to victims of accidents and timely informs relevant authorities.
- carries out measurements and calculations of all complex dielectric characteristics of insulating materials and conducts long-term tests of insulating materials in conditions of high humidity, high and low temperatures;
- performs adjustment and setting of equipment of high accuracy classes;
- carries out testing of vacuum circuit breakers;
- conducts tests, measurements, verification of work and records technical parameters of electrical equipment;
- checks and eliminates faults in the circuits and devices of electrical equipment of electrical installations;
- measures the transformation ratio, ohmic resistance of windings, insulation parameters;
- checks and tests electronic equipment units;
- draws up technical documentation based on results of tests and measurements of electrical equipment.
