Instrumentation&Control (I&C) Engineer
Main responsibilities:
- Review design and detailed design documents for the automation of processes for oil and gas processing facilities in I&C part;
- Review I&C equipment data sheets;
- Review specifications of I&C equipment, products and materials;
- Review electrical and pipe wiring diagrams of I&C equipment;
- Review I&C cable route plans and cable types in order to identify compliance of cable size with design size;
- Review and approve technical proposals from suppliers of I&C equipment;
- Participate in the preparation of technical design assignments of oil and gas facilities and procedures for installation, adjustment and acceptance of I&C equipment;
- Coordinate the actions of contractors aimed at ensuring I&C installation and commissioning performance in compliance with established regulations, requirements of the technical documentation and production processes;
- Monitor the condition and correct I&C installation and commissioning, as well acceptance thereof.
- Organize and fulfill the tasks to ensure operability, repair of I&C equipment, the introduction of new instruments and automation means.
- Monitor the execution of production plans for maintenance and overhaul, draw up defect lists, schedules for instrumentation maintenance;
- Develop the requirements for appropriate equipment and spare parts according to the project schedule and the scope of expected work.
- Prepare documents for ordering the relevant equipment and spare parts;
- Track the status of the orders and work with the procurement department to receive orders on time;
- Install, ensure operation and monitoring, repair equipment under his responsibility;
- Other tasks set by management related to the activities of a specialist.
Basic requirements:
- Higher education;
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in oil and gas industry;
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience at engineer’s position;
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in installation, start-up and commissioning;
- Experience in design of process facilities in the oil and gas and gas chemical industries is appreciated;
- Knowledge of standards, technical specifications and other European and local regulatory documents;
- Knowledge of international I&C codes and symbols used in design documents;
- Knowledge of modern I&C equipment, wiring diagrams and methods of instrumentation and control devices installation;
- Knowledge of the procedure and methods of work planning to ensure the operability and repair of I&C equipment;
- Confident PC user with knowledge of special programs used in professional activities;
- Thorough familiarity with a language, both Russian and English.
